9. SUBSEQUENT EVENTS
The Company evaluates subsequent events and transactions that occur after the balance sheet date up to the date that the financial statements were issued. Other than as described below, the Company did not identify any subsequent events that would have required adjustment or disclosure in the condensed consolidated financial statements.
On April 8, 2020, the Company's stockholders approved to further extend the period of time for which the Company is required to consummate a Business Combination from April 9, 2020 to July 9, 2020 or such earlier date as determined by the Board (the "Fourth Extension Amendment"). The number of shares of common stock presented for redemption in connection with the Fourth Extension Amendment was 67,665. The Company paid cash in the aggregate amount of $728,884, or approximately $10.77 per share, to redeeming stockholders. As a result of the payment on the shares of common stock presented for redemption in connection with the Fourth Extension Amendment, cash and marketable securities held in the Trust Account decreased to $11,273,945 at April 9, 2020.
The entire disclosure for significant events or transactions that occurred after the balance sheet date through the date the financial statements were issued or the date the financial statements were available to be issued. Examples include: the sale of a capital stock issue, purchase of a business, settlement of litigation, catastrophic loss, significant foreign exchange rate changes, loans to insiders or affiliates, and transactions not in the ordinary course of business.
